Two Levels of Support

It all begins with your need. Are you looking for a place to ease the daily burdens of life tasks? Are you looking for a safe secure place to help alleviate the personal care you are providing to someone at home? Pioneer is a set of Two Buildings joined by a secure section. The community is specifically designed with common areas and features that allow individuals to “age in place.” The site provides varied housing options and levels of services, which are designed to respond to the individual needs of those who require assistance with certain activities of daily living, but do not need continuous or one on one personal care that a private facility might provide. This is a wonderful option for a couple where a spouse requires more help than the other, where they can continue to live together with supports that don’t get in-between them.

Supportive Living for Independent Seniors

Providing home comforts to Seniors since 1960. Pioneer Lodge is a primary destination for independent seniors who want some relief from daily tasks like meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry. Anyone over the age of 65 can fill out an application form for residency. (AB Supportive Living Level 2).

Daily living Health Care Services are only offered as an optional service to Lodge residents. Contact your Saskatchewan Health Authority Care Planner, to add optional Homecare services or to confirm if limited health support is a good fit for you.

Supportive Living - Designated Care

Providing 24hour care to support an active daily lifestyle since 2017. Pioneer House care staff arrange and support social activities, purposeful daily living, and overall wellness. As a licensed Alberta Health Services facility, your need for daily care support must be identified by health professionals starting with your local Homecare planner. This is not a long term care facility, this is not a seniors nursing home. Residents vary in age from 32 to 98. (AB Designated Supportive Living Level 4 including Dementia).

Delivery of daily living Health Care Services are managed by our Clinical Director to House residents, through a Saskatchewan Health Authority Care Planner. Contact your Doctor if your health support needs change or to confirm if this health support is a good fit for you.
